RMCS supplies a DYWIDAG standard Tie Rod 15/17mm Ø is hot rolled and weldable. It has a discontinuous thread and is therefor a self cleansing tie rod. Concrete is removed from the rod, when the Combi nut, wing nut or normal nut is removed from the tie rod. DYWIDAG standard 15/17mm Ø Tie Rods are German Engineered and manufactured, well tested to the highest international standards and made from St 900/1100 Steel Grade. The Maximum Load strength is 195kN, but the normal working load of the Dywidag Standard Tie Rod is 80kN. The weight is 1,44kgs per meter.

We also supply continuous thread tie rods, which are used for the same purpose, but the strength differs from that of the Dywidag Tie rod.
Use RMCS 22mm ID x 25mm OD ferrule tubing and the accompanying RMCS ferrule tubing push-on cones to ensure that the tie rods do not get lodged in the concrete when the concrete is poured.
