Description

GripRepair 1011FC is a polymer modified single component concrete repair mortar and fairing coat. Ideal for creating smooth even crack free concrete-coloured surfaces.

Typical Uses:

• As a concrete pore sealer and smoothing coat
• Repairing concrete from featheredge – 3mm

Chemical Base:

• Special blend of high-performance cements for high early strengths, and adhesion properties
• Non-shrink additives
• Water reducing additives
• Fine aggregates

Preparation:

Concrete surface must be structurally sound and all loose concrete must be removed. Surfaces must be free of oil, greases, dust, rust, paint laitance or any other contaminants.

Priming:

Saturate the concrete surface with water before priming with GK45 GripKey for Plaster or GB15 GripBond for permanently wet areas. For concrete surface dressing application, no primer is generally required.

Mixing:

Mix with clean water to the desired consistency, add GK45 GripKey for Plaster for additional adhesion and water resistance if needed.

Placing/Application:

• Apply GripRepair 1011 FC with a suitable trowel. GripRepair 1011 FC can also be applied by brush, roller or sponge depending on the desired product mix consistency.
• Never add more water to soften the mixed product it if it has hardened as this will weaken the product. Only mix up as much product as you can apply in about 30 minutes. High temperatures may cause faster setting.
• This product will increase in strength over time and it is best to spray the surface with a fine mist of water after it has first visibly set to help it achieve this strength as early as possible.
• When the product is used as a final finish in contact areas, it is advised to use SCC Waterbased Concrete Sealer as a finishing coat so as to protect the GripRepair 1011 FC from wear as a result of abrasion.
